The Manchester Speech and Language Therapy Service is committed to providing exceptional service to families and children in Manchester. This public health position is part of the Manchester City Council’s supplementary involvement in the Kickstart project and supports the “Building Back Better” initiative.

We are currently in search of five language development specialists who are experienced, enthusiastic, and flexible. The extant Communication and Language Early Years team in Manchester will be improved by these individuals.

The team in place has been committed to creating a citywide, multi-agency communication and language pathway that will enable early identification and support of children with moderate language difficulties. Manchester developed this initiative to enhance the academic preparedness and life outcomes of students.

A childcare NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification will be required. You must have a thorough understanding of children’s early language development and a diverse range of experience working with parents and children during the early years.
