Best way to spend Holidays on USA’s West Coast

Best way to spend Holidays on USA’s West Coast The United States of America is a massive country. It covers about 9.3 million square kilometers and is the world’s fourth-largest country, trailing only Russia, Canada, and China. If you don’t have a large enough cash to regularly purchase flight tickets to go around the country and see as much as you can, it’s better to focus on one particular area of the country and see as much as you can in as little time as possible.

It is entirely up to you to select a region of the country. If you are coming from Europe, the logical state to visit is New York. If you fly into New York City or one of its neighboring airports, such as Newark, the flight across the Atlantic is significantly shorter. But what else is there to see after you’ve seen the Big Apple?

East Coast or West Coast?

Some will point to Niagara Falls, Boston, and Montreal, which are all relatively close to New York City. However, there is a lot more available on the West Coast, especially if you rent a camper van or an RV. Cities such as Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, and Las Vegas are all within driving distance, allowing visitors to see the Hoover Dam, the Grand Canyon, and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Furthermore, you can plan your trip around a sporting event. To be sure, the East Coast hosts events such as the US Open, which is always a show. According to online bookmaker Bovada’s golf betting odds, John Rahm is a +600 favorite to win at The Country Club in Massachusetts, but the West Coast has plenty to offer as well.

WrestleMania 39, WWE’s annual professional wrestling spectacle, was recently held in the City of Angels. Megastar Roman Reigns successfully defended his championship against Cody Rhodes at the Showcase of the Immortals, with special cameos from Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, Snoop Dogg, and Logan Paul. In addition, Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium will host the Super Bowl next year, with the Kansas City Chiefs once again favored to win.

If you are on a tight schedule, we believe the West Coast has more to offer. As such, here is the ideal itinerary for ten days of seeing California and its adjacent states.

Fly Into Las Vegas:

What better place to begin than ‘Fabulous’ Las Vegas, Nevada? Europe offers plenty of flights to the gambling capital of the world, with London, Amsterdam, and Zurich all flying directly to Sin City, and it’s the perfect place to start your trip. Spend a couple of nights in the world-renowned casinos, walk down the iconic Las Vegas strip, and even explore downtown Vegas, the city’s former hub.

They claim that New York City never sleeps, but the same can be true of Las Vegas. Most bars and casinos are open 24 hours a day, as are restaurants, diners, and gyms if you need to get in a short workout while on vacation. In terms of overall America, Vegas is just a stone’s throw away from California, and if you’ve booked a campervan or an RV, the short journey west is simply breathtaking. If that fails, Frontier Airlines has flights to San Francisco starting at $15.

Drive to Los Angeles:

After you’ve had your fill of Sin City, head to Los Angeles. As previously stated, the drive west from Nevada is just magnificent, and we highly recommend spending an evening out in the woods. There are many sites in the highlands where you will undoubtedly make friends with other tourists and ‘van lifers,’ perhaps even spending a night around the fire, drinking a few beers, and sharing stories.

Head into the City of Angels the next morning; you won’t be disappointed, as there is so much to do. The Hollywood Sign is a fan favorite and for good reason. But it’s not just the sign that needs to be seen; the plethora of houses in and around the neighborhood is also breathtaking.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame and Universal Studios are both must-see attractions. And if you get the opportunity to attend an event at SoFi Stadium, you just must. The stadium is stunning.

A Beautiful Drive North to San Francisco:

You can either drive south to San Diego and the Mexican border after you’ve had your fill of Los Angeles. You can also travel north to San Francisco. We believe that the latter is the superior alternative.

And this is in no way a criticism of San Diego. The trip to The Golden City, on the other hand, is breathtaking. Take in the view as you walk across the hills of Sequoia National Park. Then, stay on the outskirts of Yosemite National Park in quaint towns like Oakhurst before heading into Yosemite the next day.

After exploring the waterfalls of the renowned national park, the next trip is to San Francisco, and what better spot to end your stay? There are lots to do in the city, such as watching a Golden State Warriors game or watching the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium. However, spending an evening at the Golden State Bridge is an absolute must.

And, while San Francisco is an excellent place to end your journey, it is also very convenient. There are flights from San Francisco International to 13 European cities, with fares to Paris being very affordable.
